Unlike most other baby travel products on the market today, the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio car seat has rather "dual" reviews - parents either love it and wouldn't trade it for anything (and feel it was worth the money they paid for it), or they dislike it very much and wish that they hadn't purchased it.

The "SIP" (Side Impact Protection) aspect of the Primo Viaggio 2008 makes it one of the safest car seats for infants in the world. Many parents love it for this feature alone (and the 5-point harness that adds further protection). Also, most parents report that their babies are comfortable with the softness of the cushioning and the fabric.

About the parents who didn't like it - Generally, these parents said that their babies got too hot, and/or that the "wings" (left and right of the baby's head) made their babies' heads uncomfortable and were too restrictive, and felt that it wasn't worth the money they paid because of this. Another complaint was that the seat was too heavy (it weighs 11 lbs. without the base, 17.5 lbs. with the base).

Hi i purchases a pliko P3 travel system. I cant seem to get the primo viaggo car seat installed in my car correctly! The problem is the spirit bubble - no matter how i turn it i cannot get the bubble in the correct position. Obviously this must be due to the inclination (or rather lack thereof) of my cars rear seat. Its a Nissan Qashqai. The seat is however firmly installed and i would like to know how important is it that the bubble is in the correct possition? I live in a very small town and do not travel long distance. Thank you, claudia
